Method
Marinade Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are blended together.
- 2
Marinate the Chicken
Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for best flavor).
Grilling and Assembly
- 3
Grill the Chicken
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the leftover marinade. Grill the chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes.
- 4
Prepare the Tomato
While the chicken is resting, slice the tomato into thin rounds.
- 5
Assemble the Sandwich
Slice the burger buns in half. Spread 2 tablespoons of house sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Place a grilled chicken breast on top of the sauce, followed by 2 lettuce leaves and a few slices of tomato. Cap with the top half of the bun.
- 6
Serve
Serve the grilled chicken sandwiches immediately with your choice of side.
