Cider Base Preparation

Prepare the Blackberries
Rinse 2 cups of fresh blackberries under cold water. Set aside for later use.

Create Blackberry Mixture
In a large pot, combine the rinsed blackberries, 4 cups of water, 1 cup of granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, and 1 cinnamon stick. Stir to mix well.

Simmer the Mixture
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Strain the Mixture
After 20 minutes, remove the pot from heat. Use a fine mesh strainer to strain the mixture into another container, discarding the solids. Let it cool to room temperature.
Sparkling Component Assembly

Combine with Sparkling Water
Once the blackberry mixture has cooled, combine it with 2 cups of sparkling water in a large pitcher. Stir gently to mix.

Serve
Pour the blackberry cider into glasses over ice. Garnish with fresh blackberries and mint leaves. Serve immediately and enjoy!
