Method
Preparing the Chicken
- 1
Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, mix olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Add the chicken breasts and coat well. Allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Grill the Chicken
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- 3
Preparing the Fries
- 4
Cook the Fries
Prepare the frozen french fries according to package instructions, typically baking in the oven at 425°F (220°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- 5
Season the Fries
Once cooked, remove from the oven and sprinkle with salt to taste.
Assembling the Sandwich
- 6
Toast the Buns (optional)
If desired, lightly toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
- 7
Build the Sandwich
Place each grilled chicken breast on the bottom half of the bun. Top with coleslaw and pickles if using. Place the top half of the bun on each sandwich.
