Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Blueberry Base

In a medium saucepan, combine the fresh blueberries and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to a simmer. Allow the blueberries to cook for about 10 minutes, or until they are soft and have released their juices.

  2. 2

    Sweeten the Mixture

Add the sugar to the blueberry mixture, stirring until fully dissolved. Once dissolved, remove the saucepan from heat and let it cool for about 10 minutes.

  3. 3

    Strain the Blueberry Mixture

Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the blueberry mixture into a bowl to remove the skins and seeds. Press down on the blueberries with a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 4

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large pitcher, combine the strained blueberry juice, sparkling cider, lemon juice, and the cinnamon stick. Stir gently to combine.

  2. 5

    Add Garnishes

Add the fresh mint leaves and additional blueberries to the pitcher for garnish.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve Chilled

Pour the Baker Road Blueberry Cider into glasses filled with ice. Garnish with a few mint leaves and blueberries on top for a refreshing presentation.
