Method

Preparation of the Burger Patty

1

Mix the Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently until just combined.

2

Shape the Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 3/4 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to help them cook evenly.

Cooking the Burger Patties

3

Preheat the Grill or Skillet

Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.

4

Cook the Patties

Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side until browned, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes on the other side. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

Assemble the Burger

5

Prepare the Buns

While the patties are cooking, slice the burger buns in half and toast them on the grill or in a toaster.

6

Add the Toppings

On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese. Top with tomato slices, red onion slices, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Place the top half of the bun on each assembled burger.
