Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Smoked Turkey

Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). Season the turkey with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Smoke the turkey for about 4-5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Green Beans

In a pot, bring water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for about 5-7 minutes until tender. Drain and toss with 1 tablespoon of butter, salt, and pepper to taste.

  3. 3

    Make the Mashed Potatoes

Peel and chop potatoes, then boil them in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and mash with remaining butter and milk until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Cornbread

Follow your favorite cornbread recipe or use a box mix to prepare cornbread. Bake according to instructions, typically around 20-25 minutes at 400°F (204°C).

  5. 5

    Serve

Slice the smoked turkey and serve it on a plate with the green beans, mashed potatoes, and a slice of cornbread.
