Method

Cooking Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil the Linguine

In a large pot, bring water to a rolling boil. Add 1 tsp of salt.

  2. 2

    Cook the Pasta

Add the linguine to the boiling water and cook according to package directions, usually about 8-10 minutes or until al dente.

  3. 3

    Drain and Set Aside

Once cooked, drain the linguine and set it aside. Reserve a cup of pasta water for later use.

Preparing the Sauce

  1. 4

    Sauté the Garlic

In a large skillet, heat 2 tbs of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  2. 5

    Add the Crab Meat

Gently fold in the crab meat and cook for about 2-3 minutes until heated through.

  3. 6

    Create the Creamy Sauce

Pour in 200 ml of heavy cream, and add the lemon juice, 0.5 tsp of salt, and 0.25 tsp of black pepper. Stir well and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.

  4. 7

    Incorporate the Cheese

Add 50 grams of grated Parmesan cheese to the sauce, stirring until melted and well combined.

Combining Everything

  1. 8

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked linguine to the skillet with the sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly. If the sauce is too thick, add some reserved pasta water until desired consistency is achieved.

  2. 9

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
