Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare Ingredients

Rinse the crab legs and shrimp under cold water. Cut the Andouille sausage into 1-inch pieces. Cut the potatoes in half, and the corn into halves. Quarter the onion and smash the garlic cloves.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Boil the Broth

In a large pot, bring 4 liters of water to a boil over high heat. Add the Old Bay seasoning, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt to the boiling water.

  2. 3

    Add Vegetables

Once the broth is boiling, add the potatoes, corn, onion, and garlic. Boil for about 10 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.

  3. 4

    Add Sausage and Seafood

After 10 minutes, add the Andouille sausage to the pot and boil for an additional 5 minutes. Then, add the crab legs and shrimp, and continue boiling for another 5-7 minutes until the shrimp are pink and the crab is heated through.

  4. 5

    Finish and Serve

Stir in the lemon slices during the last minute of cooking. Remove the pot from heat and drain the ingredients. Serve hot on a platter, optionally with extra lemon wedges and melted butter.
