Soup Preparation Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Wontons
In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, minced garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully combined. Place about 1 teaspoon of the pork mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it over to form a triangle, and seal the edges. Then, bring the two corners of the triangle together to form a wonton shape. Repeat until all filling is used.
- 2
Cook the Wontons
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Gently drop the wontons into the boiling water and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until they float to the surface and are cooked through. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.
- 3
Prepare the Broth
In a separate pot, bring the chicken broth to a simmer. Add chopped bok choy and cook for about 2-3 minutes until tender. Add the cooked wontons to the broth and let them heat through for another minute.
- 4
Serve the Soup
Ladle the soup into bowls, ensuring each bowl gets wontons and bok choy. Garnish with chopped green onions. Serve hot.
