Wonton Soup Ingredients

Method

Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Make the Wontons

In a bowl, mix ground pork, minced ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Place a small spoonful of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with water and fold into a triangle, sealing well.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Broth

In a large pot, heat the chicken broth over medium heat. Add sesame oil and bring to a gentle simmer.

  3. 3

    Cook the Wontons

Carefully drop the wontons into the simmering broth and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until they float and are cooked through.

  4. 4

    Cook the Noodles

In a separate pot, cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  5. 5

    Add Bok Choy

Add the bok choy to the broth and cook for another 2-3 minutes until wilted.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Soup

In serving bowls, place the cooked noodles, ladle the wonton soup over the noodles, and garnish with chopped green onions. Serve hot.
