Preparation Steps
- 1
Make the Filling
In a large bowl, combine ground pork, green onions, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- 2
Fill the Dumplings
Take a dumpling wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges with a little water, fold the wrapper over to create a half-moon shape, and pinch the edges to seal. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
- 3
Pan Frying Method
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little oil. Place the dumplings in the skillet and fry for about 3-4 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown. Carefully add 1 cup of water to the skillet, cover, and steam for about 5-6 minutes until the water has evaporated.
- 4
Steaming Method
If you prefer steaming, place the dumplings in a steamer basket lined with parchment paper. Steam over boiling water for about 10-12 minutes until cooked through.
- 5
Serve
Serve warm with ginger sauce or soy sauce for dipping.
