Chill the glass
Chill a rocks glass by filling it with ice or placing it in the freezer for a few minutes, then discard the chilling ice.

Combine the ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine 45 ml Macallan 12-year-old Scotch, 30 ml sweet vermouth, 15 ml Amaro Averna, 15 ml honey syrup, and 2 dashes Angostura bitters.

Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until well chilled.
