If using store-bought pizza dough, follow the package instructions. If making from scratch, prepare the dough and let it rise until doubled in size.

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) or as high as your oven will go.

On a floured surface, stretch or roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness and shape. Transfer it to a pizza stone or baking sheet.

Layer the sliced tomatoes evenly over the dough. Tear the fresh mozzarella into chunks and distribute it across the pizza. Add salt and black pepper to taste.

Add Toppings

Drizzle olive oil over the top and place the pizza in the preheated oven. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.

Bake the Pizza

Remove the pizza from the oven, top with fresh basil leaves, and let it cool for a minute before slicing. Serve hot.
