Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cajun Fries

Start by preparing the cajun fries.

  2. 2

Preheat your oven according to the fries packaging instructions or to 425°F (220°C) if making from scratch.

  3. 3

Cut the potatoes into fries and toss them in a bowl with vegetable oil, cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

  4. 4

Spread the fries evenly on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and crispy.

  5. 5

    Cook the Kobe Beef Patties

While the fries are cooking, prepare the Kobe beef patties.

  6. 6

Season the Kobe beef patties with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  7. 7

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of vegetable oil.

  8. 8

Once the oil is hot, add the patties and cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side.

  9. 9

Flip the patties and place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes for medium doneness.

  10. 10

    Assemble the Smash Burger

Now it's time to assemble your burger.

  11. 11

Toast the brioche buns lightly on the skillet or in the oven until golden.

  12. 12

Spread a tablespoon of chipotle aioli on the bottom half of each bun.

  13. 13

Layer a lettuce leaf on top of the aioli, followed by a slice of tomato.

  14. 14

Place the cooked Kobe beef patty with melted cheddar cheese on top of the tomato.

  15. 15

Add pickle slices on top of the patty, then place the top half of the bun on the burger.

  16. 16

    Serve

Serve the burgers with a side of cajun fries.

  17. 17

Plate each burger with a generous portion of cajun fries and enjoy your delicious Locas Smash Burger!
