Method

Meats

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt, black pepper, and lemon zest. Drizzle lemon juice over the chicken and let it marinate for about 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Chicken

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown. Transfer the chicken to a plate and cover with foil to keep warm.

Sauce

  1. 3

    Make the Brown Butter Sauce

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add the unsalted butter and let it melt. Swirl the pan occasionally until the butter turns golden brown and begins to smell nutty, about 3-4 minutes.

  2. 4

    Add Flavor

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the chopped parsley, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 5

    Combine with Chicken

Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, coating it in the brown butter sauce. Serve immediately with additional parsley if desired.
