Method

Prepare the Fries

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. 2

    Cut the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to form fries.

  3. 3

    Season the Fries

In a bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and paprika until evenly coated.

  4. 4

    Bake the Fries

Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

Prepare the Burger

  1. 5

    Make the Patty

In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Shape the mixture into two equal patties.

  2. 6

    Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. If using cheese, add a slice on top during the last minute of cooking to melt.

  3. 7

    Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, cut the burger buns in half and toast them on the grill or in a toaster until lightly browned.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 8

    Add Toppings

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by a cooked patty, and top with a slice of tomato. Add ketchup and mustard to taste.

  2. 9

    Complete the Burger

Place the top half of the bun on the burger and press down gently.
