Method

Brewing the Tea

1

Boil the Water

In a kettle, bring 1 cup of fresh water to a rolling boil. It is important to use fresh water for the best flavor.

2

Add Green Tea Leaves

Once the water reaches a boil, remove it from the heat and let it cool for about 30 seconds. Add 2 teaspoons of green tea leaves to a teapot or cup.

3

Pour Water

Pour the hot water over the green tea leaves. Make sure to cover the leaves completely.

4

Steep

Allow the tea to steep for 2-3 minutes. Adjust the steeping time based on your preference for strength.

5

Strain the Tea

After steeping, strain the tea into a cup to remove the leaves.

Adding Optional Ingredients

6

Sweeten Your Tea

If desired, add 1 teaspoon of honey to the tea. Stir well until fully dissolved.

7

Add Lemon Juice

For a refreshing citrus flavor, add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice to the tea and mix.

8

Garnish with Mint

If you like, garnish your tea with 5 fresh mint leaves for an aromatic touch.
