Prepare the Ingredients
Gather all the ingredients listed above. Muddle the fresh strawberries and basil leaves in a cocktail shaker.

Mix the Cocktail
Add the gin, grapefruit bitters, fresh lemon juice, aquafaba, and simple syrup to the shaker with the muddled strawberries and basil.

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

Strain the mixture into a tall glass filled with ice. Top with club soda and gently stir.
