Method

Prepare the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, making a slight indentation in the middle of each to prevent puffing while cooking.

Cook the Burger Patty

  1. 3

    Heat the Grill or Pan

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place the patties on the grill or pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and place a slice of cheddar cheese on each. Cook for another 4-5 minutes until the cheese is melted and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).

Prepare Toppings

  1. 5

    Slice the Vegetables

While the patties are cooking, slice the tomato and onion into rings. Wash and dry the lettuce leaves.

  2. 6

    Cook the Bacon

In a separate pan, cook the bacon slices over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 7

    Toast the Buns

Optionally, you can toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 8

    Layer the Ingredients

On the bottom half of each bun, layer the lettuce, cooked patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, onion rings, bacon, pickles, ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise. Top with the other half of the bun.
