Burger Patty

Method

Prepare the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently with your hands until just combined. Avoid overmixing to ensure the patties remain tender.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties, about 1 inch thick. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb to help them cook evenly.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the patties reach your desired doneness.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 4

    Prepare the Buns

While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the brioche burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 5

    Layer the Ingredients

Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Place a cooked patty with melted cheese on top. Add shredded lettuce, tomato slices, red onion slices, and pickles as desired.

  3. 6

    Add Condiments

Drizzle ketchup and Dijon mustard on top of the toppings before placing the top half of the bun on each burger.

  4. 7

    Serve

Serve the Platinum Burgers immediately with your choice of side dishes.
