Method
Sandwich
- 1
Prepare bacon
Cook the bacon until crisp. For stovetop: place bacon in a cold skillet, turn heat to medium, and cook 7–10 minutes, flipping occasionally, until crisp. For oven: arrange bacon on a foil-lined baking sheet and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12–18 minutes. Transfer cooked bacon to a plate lined with paper towels to drain.

Mix sauces
In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise (2 tbs) and chili sauce (1 tbs). Stir until smooth and evenly blended. Taste and adjust: add a pinch more chili sauce for heat or more mayo for creaminess.

Assemble sandwich
Lay out the 4 slices of bread to form two sandwiches. Spread the mayo–chili mixture evenly on the inner sides of all slices (about 1/2 tbs per slice). On the bottom slice of the first sandwich, place 3 slices of turkey folded if needed to fit. Top turkey with 2 bacon slices, 2 tomato slices, and 1 lettuce leaf. Season tomato lightly with 1/8 tsp salt and a pinch (~1/16 tsp) black pepper. Place the top slice of bread, mayo side down, to finish the first sandwich. Repeat for the second sandwich using the remaining ingredients.

Finish and serve
Press each sandwich gently to compact. If desired, cut each sandwich in half diagonally. Serve immediately while bacon is still warm, or wrap and chill for later. Provide extra chili sauce or mayo on the side if desired.
