Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently and form into 4 equal patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese (optional)

If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Rolls

While the patties are cooking, slice the Kaiser rolls in half and toast them lightly if desired.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burgers

Place each cooked patty on the bottom half of a Kaiser roll. Top with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, and mustard as desired. Cover with the top half of the roll.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
