Prepare the Submarine Roll
Slice the submarine roll lengthwise, making sure not to cut all the way through.

Layer the Ingredients
Spread Dijon mustard and mayonnaise on the inside of the roll. Layer the imported ham, followed by Swiss cheese, lettuce, and tomato slices.

Season the Sandwich
Sprinkle salt and black pepper to taste over the toppings.

Close and Serve
Close the sandwich and slice it in half if desired. Serve immediately.
