Fish Marinade

Method

Fish Marinade Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, ground cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Fish

Add the fish fillets to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking Fish

  1. 3

    Cook the Fish

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated fish fillets. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Remove from heat and let rest for a minute.

Taco Assembly

  1. 4

    Warm the Tortillas

In the same skillet used for the fish, lightly toast the corn tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until they are warm and slightly charred.

  2. 5

    Assemble the Tacos

To assemble each taco, place a piece of cooked fish on a warm tortilla. Top with shredded red cabbage, chopped cilantro, and sliced avocado. Add a dollop of sour cream or Greek yogurt and sprinkle with salsa if desired.

  3. 6

    Serve

Serve the tacos with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the top.
