Prepare the Chicken

Season the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Cook the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
Cook the Pasta

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil.

Cook the Fettuccine
Add the fettuccine pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions, usually around 10-12 minutes, until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Make the Alfredo Sauce

Add Garlic and Cream
Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.

Incorporate Cheese and Seasonings
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg. Continue to stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
Combine and Serve

Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the Alfredo sauce and toss until the pasta is well coated.

Slice Chicken and Serve
Slice the cooked chicken breasts and place them on top of the pasta. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
