For the Chicken Wings

Method

Preparing the Chicken Wings

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to prepare for baking the chicken wings.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Wings

In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, and baking powder until they are evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Arrange on Baking Sheet

Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer on the rack.

Making the Buffalo Sauce

  1. 4

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter completely.

  2. 5

    Combine the Sauce Ingredients

Once the butter is melted, stir in the hot sauce, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, and honey. Mix well until fully combined.

Cooking the Wings

  1. 6

    Bake the Wings

Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.

  2. 7

    Toss in Buffalo Sauce

Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the prepared buffalo sauce over the wings and toss until they are well coated.

Serving

  1. 8

    Prepare the Veggies

While the wings are baking, wash and cut the celery and carrots into sticks for serving.

  2. 9

    Serve the Wings

Serve the buffalo chicken wings hot with celery sticks, carrot sticks, and a side of ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
