Burger Patties

Toppings

Method

Prepare the Burger Patties

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a patty, about 1/2 inch thick.

  3. 3

    Preheat Grill

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

Cook the Burger Patties

  1. 4

    Cook Patties

Place the burger patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  2. 5

    Add Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and close the grill lid or cover the skillet to melt the cheese.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 6

    Prepare Buns

Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 7

    Add Toppings

Spread BBQ sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cheesy burger patty, sliced tomato, and onion rings on top.

  3. 8

    Finish Assembly

Top with the other half of the bun. Serve immediately.
