Winemaking Process
Crushing the Grapes
Begin by washing the Syrah grapes thoroughly. Crush the grapes in a large container to release the juice. Make sure to keep the skins included for better flavor extraction.
Pressing
Once the fermentation is complete, press the mixture to separate the liquid from the solids. Use a wine press or a fine sieve to extract as much juice as possible.
Aging
Transfer the pressed liquid into a clean fermentation vessel and add oak chips. Seal the vessel and let it age for 3-6 months, tasting periodically to monitor flavor development.
Bottling
After aging, filter the wine to remove any remaining solids. Bottle the wine in sterilized bottles and cork them tightly. Allow the wine to age further in the bottle for at least 6 months before enjoying.
