Cooking Pasta

Cook the Farfalle
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the farfalle pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cooking Pork and Kale

Sauté Pork
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground spicy pork, minced garlic, and red chili flakes. Cook until the pork is browned, about 5-7 minutes.

Add Kale
Stir in the chopped kale and cook until wilted, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat.
Making Custard

Prepare Custard Mixture
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Stir in the shredded smoked Gouda cheese until combined.
Assembling and Baking

Combine Ingredients
In a large baking dish, combine the cooked farfalle, sautéed pork and kale mixture, and the custard. Mix well to combine.

Prepare Garlic Crumb Topping
In a small bowl, mix together breadcrumbs, garlic powder, chopped parsley, and melted butter. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the pasta and custard.

Bake
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake the dish for about 25-30 minutes or until the custard is set and the topping is golden brown.
