Preparing the Charred Gindara and Prawns

Grill the Fish and Prawns
Preheat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the sablefish for about 4-5 minutes on each side until charred and cooked through. Grill the prawns for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink.
Making the Toasted Cornmeal Gnocchi

Shape the Gnocchi
Roll the dough into long ropes and cut into bite-sized pieces. Dust with flour to prevent sticking.

Cook the Gnocchi
Boil a pot of salted water. Drop the gnocchi into the boiling water and cook until they float to the surface (about 2-3 minutes). Remove and set aside.
Making the Crab & Ginger Broth

Prepare the Broth
In a pot, combine crab stock, sliced ginger, minced garlic, and soy sauce. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes. Strain the broth to remove ginger and garlic.
Preparing the Kimchi Aioli

Mix the Aioli
In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, chopped kimchi, minced garlic, and lemon juice until smooth.
Final Assembly

Plate the Dish
In a shallow bowl, ladle some crab & ginger broth. Add a serving of toasted cornmeal gnocchi, top with the grilled sablefish and prawns, and drizzle with kimchi aioli. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
