Instructions

  1. 1

    Soak the Soybeans

Rinse the dried soybeans under cold water and place them in a bowl. Cover with 3 cups of water and let them soak for at least 8 hours or overnight.

  2. 2

    Drain and Rinse

After soaking, drain the soybeans and rinse them under cold water.

  3. 3

    Blend the Soybeans

In a blender, combine the soaked soybeans with 4 cups of fresh water. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

  4. 4

    Strain the Mixture

Place a nut milk bag or a fine mesh strainer over a large bowl. Pour the blended soybean mixture into the bag or strainer. Squeeze and press to extract as much liquid as possible. The liquid collected is your soy milk.

  5. 5

    Sweeten and Flavor (optional)

If desired, stir in a sweetener and vanilla extract to taste. Mix well.

  6. 6

    Store the Soy Milk

Transfer the soy milk to a clean bottle or jar and refrigerate. Shake well before using.
