Method

Wine Making Process

  1. 1

    Harvesting Grapes

Harvest the Syrah grapes from the Gold Hill vineyard in Okanagan Valley, BC, ensuring they are fully ripe.

  2. 2

    Crushing and Destemming

Crush and destem the harvested grapes using a grape crusher to release the juice.

  3. 3

    Fermentation

Transfer the crushed grapes to a fermentation vessel. Add yeast and sulfur dioxide to the must and stir well. Allow the mixture to ferment at a controlled temperature of around 25°C for 7-14 days.

  4. 4

    Pressing

Once fermentation is complete, press the mixture to separate the liquid wine from the solids.

  5. 5

    Aging

Transfer the pressed wine into oak barrels for aging. Allow the wine to age for 6-12 months to develop its flavors.

  6. 6

    Bottling

Once aging is complete, filter the wine and bottle it. Seal the bottles and label them accordingly.
