Prepare the Bread
Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat. Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Brush with Olive Oil
Brush both sides of each slice of baguette with olive oil to help them crisp up while grilling.

Chop the Tomatoes
Dice the tomatoes into small pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

Add Basil and Garlic
Chop the fresh basil leaves and mince the garlic cloves. Add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Season the Mixture
Sprinkle salt and black pepper over the tomato mixture. Toss everything gently to combine the flavors.

Grill the Bread
Place the oiled bread slices on the grill. Grill for 2-3 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and crispy.

Assemble the Bruschetta
Remove the grilled bread from the grill and top each slice generously with the tomato mixture. Serve immediately.
