Method
Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure it is hot enough for roasting.
- 2
Prepare the Brussels Sprouts
Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow or damaged outer leaves. Cut them in half lengthwise.
- 3
Mince the Garlic
Peel and mince the garlic cloves finely to release their flavor.
Cooking
- 4
Toss the Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts, minced garlic, olive oil, chili flakes, salt, and black pepper. Toss everything together until the Brussels sprouts are evenly coated.
- 5
Arrange on Baking Sheet
Spread the coated Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet, cut side down for maximum crispiness.
- 6
Roast in the Oven
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for 20-25 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are golden brown and crispy, stirring halfway through for even cooking.
- 7
Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your crispy Brussels sprouts warm!
