Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Season the ribeye steak with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Preheat your wood-fired grill. Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove from the grill and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a skillet, heat a little olive oil over medium heat. Add the bell peppers, red onion, and banana peppers. Sauté until they are tender, about 5-7 minutes.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Sandwich

Slice the focaccia buns in half. Spread a layer of steakhouse aioli on each half. Place slices of grilled steak on the bottom half, add the sautéed vegetables, and top with provolone cheese. Close the sandwich.

  5. 5

    Final Touch

Place the assembled sandwich back on the grill for a couple of minutes to melt the cheese and toast the buns. Serve hot.
