Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare Brussels Sprouts

Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow or damaged leaves. Cut them in half lengthwise.

  3. 3

    Cook Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from skillet and let it cool on paper towels. Once cooled, crumble the bacon into small pieces.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Toss with Ingredients

In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and brown sugar until evenly coated.

  2. 5

    Roast Brussels Sprouts

Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are crispy and golden brown.

  3. 6

    Add Bacon and Glaze

Once the Brussels sprouts are done roasting, remove them from the oven and sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the top. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and toss to combine.
