Method
Cooking the Salmon

Prepare the Salmon
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with blackening seasoning.

Heat the Pan
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Cook the Salmon
Add the seasoned salmon fillets to the skillet, skin-side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is cooked through and has a dark charred crust.

Combine Salad Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine mixed field greens, halved cherry tomatoes, sliced black olives, and thinly sliced red onion. Toss gently to mix.
Making the Wasabi Aioli

Mix the Aioli
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, wasabi paste, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth and well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Serving

Plate the Dish
To serve, place a generous portion of the salad on each plate. Top with a blackened salmon fillet and drizzle with wasabi aioli.
