Wine Ingredients

Method

Winemaking Process

  1. 1

    Harvesting

Carefully hand harvest the Pinot Noir grapes, ensuring they are ripe and free from blemishes.

  2. 2

    Crushing

Crush the harvested grapes to release their juice. This can be done using a grape crusher or by hand.

  3. 3

    Fermentation

Transfer the crushed grapes and juice into a fermentation vessel. Add water and yeast to the mixture. Allow the fermentation to occur at a controlled temperature (around 18-22°C) for 7-14 days, stirring daily.

  4. 4

    Pressing

After fermentation, press the mixture to separate the liquid wine from the solid grape skins. Use a wine press for this step.

  5. 5

    Aging

Transfer the pressed wine to an aging barrel or bottle. If desired, add oak chips for added flavor. Allow the wine to age for at least 6 months in a cool, dark place.

  6. 6

    Bottling

Once aged, filter the wine and bottle it. Seal the bottles with corks and store them in an upright position.

  7. 7

    Serving

Serve the Pinot Noir at a temperature of 14-16°C. Enjoy the wine with a variety of dishes or on its own.
