Small Fry
Method
Preparation
Wash and Cut Potatoes
Begin by washing the small potatoes thoroughly under cold water to remove any dirt. Once cleaned, cut them into thin wedges or sticks, about 1/4 inch thick for even cooking.
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to ensure it's hot enough for crispy fries.
Cooking
Toss with Seasonings
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cut potatoes, olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Toss well until the potatoes are evenly coated with the oil and seasonings.
Arrange on Baking Sheet
Spread the seasoned potato wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Ensure there is some space between each piece for even cooking.
Bake the Fries
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping the fries halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
Serving
Serve with Ketchup
Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with ketchup on the side for dipping.
