Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Ingredients
Begin by gathering all the ingredients needed for the Links Club sandwich.
- 2
Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the Applewood smoked bacon until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
- 3
Prepare the Vegetables
Wash the lettuce leaves and set aside. Slice the tomato into thin rounds and slice the cucumber into thin rounds.
Making the Sauce
- 4
Mix the Cherry Dijon Sauce
In a small bowl, combine the cherry preserves, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, and olive oil. Mix thoroughly until smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Assembling the Sandwich
- 5
Layer the Ingredients
Take one slice of potato bread and layer it with roasted turkey breast, crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato slices, and cucumber slices.
- 6
Add the Sauce
Spread a generous amount of the cherry Dijon sauce on the second slice of potato bread.
- 7
Complete the Sandwich
Place the second slice of potato bread on top of the sandwich, sauce side down.
- 8
Slice and Serve
Cut the sandwich in half diagonally and serve immediately with extra cherry Dijon sauce on the side, if desired.
