Method

Preparing the Chicken

  1. 1

    Marinate the Chicken

Place the chicken breasts in a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and black pepper. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Chicken

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Cooking the Bacon

  1. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and place on paper towels to drain excess fat.

Assembling the Sandwich

  1. 4

    Prepare the Brioche Roll

Slice the brioche rolls in half and toast lightly on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 5

    Add the Toppings

On the bottom half of each toasted brioche roll, layer the grilled chicken breast, followed by crispy bacon and a generous layer of cheddar cheese.

  3. 6

    Add Vegetables

Top with a leaf of lettuce and slices of tomato.

Making the Dijon Sauce

  1. 7

    Combine the Sauce Ingredients

In a small bowl, mix together Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, honey, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Final Assembly

  1. 8

    Finish the Sandwich

Spread the Dijon sauce on the top half of the brioche roll. Close the sandwich and serve immediately.
