Salad Base

Method

Prepare Croutons

  1. 1

    Make the Croutons

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the bread slices into small cubes. In a bowl, toss the bread cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, and salt until evenly coated.

  2. 2

    Bake the Croutons

Spread the bread cubes on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove from oven and let cool.

Prepare Dressing

  1. 3

    Mix the Dressing

In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth and well combined.

Assemble Salad

  1. 4

    Toss the Salad

In a large bowl, add the chopped romaine lettuce and pour the Caesar dressing over it. Toss well to coat all the leaves with the dressing.

  2. 5

    Add Croutons and Cheese

Sprinkle the toasted croutons and grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the salad. Toss gently to combine.
