Method
For the Buffalo Wings
- 1
Prep the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- 2
Prepare the Wings
In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with vegetable oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until well coated.
- 3
Bake the Wings
Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until wings are crispy and cooked through.
- 4
Make the Sauce
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, stir in the hot sauce until combined. Remove from heat.
- 5
Coat the Wings
Once the wings are done baking, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the hot sauce mixture over the wings and toss until evenly coated.
For the Blue Cheese Dressing
- 6
Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine the blue cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- 7
Mix Well
Using a fork, mash the blue cheese into the mixture while stirring until well combined and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- 8
Chill
Cover the dressing and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
