Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Mahi Mahi or Shrimp
If using Mahi Mahi, cut the fish into fillets. If using shrimp, peel and devein them if not already done. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 2
Cook the Seafood
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of oil. Once hot, add the Mahi Mahi fillets or shrimp. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for Mahi Mahi, or 2-3 minutes per side for shrimp, until cooked through and golden brown.
- 3
Prepare the Salad
While the seafood is cooking, wash and chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Place the chopped romaine in a large bowl.
- 4
Combine Ingredients
Once the seafood is cooked, let it cool for a couple of minutes. Then, add the warm seafood to the bowl with the romaine lettuce.
- 5
Dress the Salad
Pour the Caesar dressing over the romaine and seafood mixture. Toss gently until the lettuce and seafood are well-coated with dressing.
- 6
Add Toppings
Sprinkle the croutons and shredded Parmesan cheese over the salad. Toss gently to combine.
