Method

Marinating the Chicken

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, honey, grated ginger, and black pepper. Whisk until well combined.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Chicken

Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are fully submerged. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or up to 8 hours for best flavor).

Grilling and Assembling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).

  2. 4

    Grill the Chicken

Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade. Place the chicken breasts on the grill and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

  3. 5

    Prepare the Toppings

While the chicken is grilling, prepare the toppings by slicing the tomato and onion, and shredding the lettuce.

  4. 6

    Assemble the Cha-Cha-Chicken

Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes. Slice the chicken and serve it on a plate topped with shredded lettuce, sliced tomato, and onion.
