Burger Ingredients

Herb Garlic Aioli Ingredients

Method

Preparing the Herb Garlic Aioli

  1. 1

    Make the Aioli

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, chopped fresh herbs, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until fully combined. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

Cooking the Burger

  1. 2

    Shape the Patties

In a mixing bowl, shape the ground beef into two equal patties, about 3/4 inch thick. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

  2. 3

    Cook the Burgers

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Season both sides of the patties with salt and black pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the meat reaches your desired doneness.

  3. 4

    Toast the Buns

While the burgers are cooking, cut the brioche buns in half and toast them on the grill or skillet until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 5

    Build Your Burger

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, spread a generous amount of herb garlic aioli. Layer with lettuce, the cooked burger patty with melted cheddar cheese, slices of tomato, and onion. Top with the other half of the bun.

  2. 6

    Prepare the Fries

If using frozen fries, cook them according to package instructions. If making homemade fries, cut potatoes into sticks, toss with oil, salt, and pepper, and bake or fry until golden and crispy.
