Cocktail Preparation

   Chill the Mixing Glass

   Begin by chilling your mixing glass. Fill it with ice and let it sit for a couple of minutes while you gather your other ingredients.

   Combine Ingredients

   Once the mixing glass is chilled, discard the ice and add 2 oz of High West Dbl Rye, 0.5 oz of Pimento Dram, and 1 oz of Mata Sweet Vermouth into the glass.

   Add Bitters

   Add 2 dashes of Angostura bitters to the mixture in the mixing glass.

   Stir the Mixture

   Fill the mixing glass with ice (about 1 cup) and stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

   Strain into Glass

   Using a strainer, pour the cocktail into a chilled coupe or rocks glass, ensuring no ice gets into the drink.

   Garnish

   Express the oils from an orange twist over the drink and drop the twist into the glass as garnish.
