Preparation
Cooking
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). This is the ideal temperature for frying.
- 4
Fry the Fries
Drain the soaked fries and pat them dry with paper towels. Carefully add them to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pot. Fry them for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.
- 5
Drain and Season
Once the fries are cooked, use a slotted spoon to remove them from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. While still hot, sprinkle with salt to taste.
Finishing Touches
- 6
Add Truffle Oil and Parmesan
In a large mixing bowl, toss the hot fries with truffle oil and grated Parmesan cheese until evenly coated.
- 7
Garnish with Parsley
Finely chop the fresh parsley and sprinkle over the fries for a burst of color and flavor.
- 8
Serve
Transfer the truffle fries to a serving platter and enjoy immediately while hot!
