Method
Dough Preparation

Activate Yeast
In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour and salt.

Combine Mixtures
Add the frothy yeast mixture and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.

Knead Dough
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Let Dough Rise
Place the kneaded dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Cheese and Garlic Butter Preparation

Prepare Cheese Blend
In a mixing bowl, combine Parmesan, Fontina, Romano, and Mozzarella cheeses. Set aside.

Make Garlic Butter
In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, sea salt, and chopped chives. Stir well.
Assembly and Baking

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).

Shape Dough
Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a rectangle on a floured surface.

Add Cheese Blend
Evenly sprinkle the cheese blend over the garlic buttered dough.

Bake Pizza Bread
Transfer the dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.

While the pizza bread is baking, combine tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, and black pepper in a small saucepan. Heat over low until warmed through.
