Cut the Tortillas
Cut each corn tortilla into 6 equal wedges to create triangular chips.

Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.

Fry the Chips
Carefully add the tortilla wedges in batches to the hot oil. Fry until they are golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per batch.

Drain the Chips
Using a slotted spoon, remove the chips from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Sprinkle with salt to taste.

Mix the Salsa
In a mixing bowl, combine diced tomatoes, onion, jalapeño, and chopped cilantro. Add lime juice and salt, then mix well.

Taste the salsa and adjust seasoning if necessary. Add more lime juice or salt to taste.
